Which actor had the best track record for appearing in good/great/classic 90's films?

For my money, it's Steve Buscemi:

Pulp Fiction
Fargo
Resevoir Dogs
The Big Lebowski
Miller's Crossing
Barton Fink
The Hudsucker Proxy
Desperado
The Wedding Singer
King of New York
Kansas City
Living in Oblivion
Tree's Lounge
In The Soup

Is there anyone you think can top that? Who is your pick for actor with the best filmography of the 90's?

Re: Which actor had the best track record for appearing in good/great/classic 90's fi

With the exception of The Bonfire of the Vanities made at the very beginning of the decade, and You've Got Mail made near the end, Tom Hanks had a really solid decade:

Joe Versus the Volcano (1990)
Radio Flyer (1992)
A League of Their Own (1992)
Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
Philadelphia (1993)
Forrest Gump (1994)
Apollo 13 (1995)
Toy Story (1995)
That Thing You Do! (1996)
From the Earth to the Moon (1998)
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Toy Story 2 (1999)
The Green Mile (1999)

Actually, Johnny Depp was pretty solid too:

Cry Baby (1990)
Edward Scissorhands (1990)
Arizona Dream (1992)
Benny & Joon (1993)
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
Ed Wood (1994)
Don Juan DeMarco (1994)
Dead Man (1995)
Nick of Time (1995)
Donnie Brasco (1997)
The Brave (1997)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
The Ninth Gate (1999)
The Astronaut's Wife (1999)
Sleepy Hollow (1999)

I have a nostalgic attachment to the earliest wave of bootleg tapes of 1980s & '90s Hong Kong films in my collection. Most of them were made from laserdiscs by fan bootleggers. They're of varying quality but discovering them was so exciting. I've upgraded to DVD for a lot of them, but some never showed up on DVD in Chinatown stores so I missed out on them even though I could have got them from Play-Asia or Yes-Asia, but they seem to be out of print now. I recently watched MOON WARRIORS again, my VHS being the only copy I have of it. I have a shelf of them in my living room and was about to pack them up recently to put in a closet or in storage to make room for newer DVD purchases, but then I had a change of heart and put them back. I want to watch them again!

Of the films I listed in my post above, I've upgraded quite a few but there are at least 20 on that list that I still only have on VHS.

They weren't all gems but after The Fugitive you have to admit the guy seemed to pop up in everything.

What are you poor?

OOP means shit if you got the money for it. And if you can find a reasonable price for yourself.

Thank you, Solid Snake, I'll keep that in mind.

(Frankly, I think I upgraded all the ones I really wanted to upgrade. I don't need to go to all the trouble of finding OOP titles on eBay or whatever for the rest of them. VHS is fine for them. Not everything needs to be in pristine condition.)

Daniel Day-Lewis has had a stellar career, actually. He's never made a truly bad film, nor has he ever put in a weak performance. The worst film he's appeared in - in my opinion - is Gangs of New York and it was nominated for Best Picture (and him for Best Actor)! No other actor in history has as good a track record as that guy.

Point Break

Passenger 57
Saving Private Ryan
