Dennis Burkley dies - 67
Burkley's agent, David Ankrum, says the actor died in his sleep late Saturday or early Sunday, at his home in the Los Angeles suburb of Sherman Oaks. A cause of death has yet to be determined. Ankrum says the actor's favorite roles included a mute motorcyclist in "Mask," one of Kevin Costner's buddies in "Tin Cup," and working with James Garner on "Murphy's Romance" and Redd Foxx on TV's "Sanford." Burkley had more more than 130 credits in movies and on TV.
Ankrum praised his brawny friend of more than 40 years, saying "Dennis could do both comedy and drama, and he had a tender side -- he didn't look it, but he did."

Very iconic look. Usually played a 'Biker'. For a while you saw him in just about everything. Seemed like a really likable guy.

I had to Google him to see who he was but after doing so I recognize him from various movies and TV shows. Probably the most notable for me were his roles in Beyond the Law and Fletch Lives.

A character that stands out for me would be the one he played on Sanford. Like I said though, for most his career he popped up in just about everything on both TV and film. You could quickly point him out as 'that one guy'.
