Road Hard - Adam Carolla
Adam started a FundAnything project for his new film. I enjoy his podcast and his TV shows. I pitched in $55 for a blu-ray copy when it comes out.

One million dollars and counting!
Congrats to Carolla for getting it done.
Now where's my effin' blu-ray?

This reminds me, I still need to see the Hammer. Can anyone vouch for its hilarity?

I think quite the opposite. Nothing against the Adam Corolla,Spike Lee,Rob Thomas and Zack Braff's of the world but has a single burgeoning film director or anyone without high name recognition been able to get film backing through kickstarter or fundanything.

I think its a little early to tell how successful these crowd sourcing sites are going to work out for film makers.

Got my shirt Friday as well.
It's a clever image that ties in to the film's subject. Better than some stupid "big floating heads" marketing asshole's idea of how to sell a film.

Positive review from The Hollywood Reporter:
'Road Hard': Film Review
While most likely to appeal primarily to the comic's die-hard fans — and there are still plenty of them these days, thanks to his hugely popular podcast — Road Hard offers genuine laughs while displaying real heart along the way.
While Road Hard isn't strictly autobiographical — Carolla, happily, has had more success in both his professional and personal lives than his beleaguered character — it contains enough hard-earned truth to give it real comic bite.
(However, only 30% on Rotten Tomatoes)

No wonder the credits were 9 minutes long but you could hardly read all the people mentioned.
I thought maybe Kimmel would be pissed with the Jay Mohr character.
It had some laughs but when he got a love interest the jokes stopped.
