What Does Marvel Want With Vin Diesel?
http://movies.yahoo.com/news/does-ma...003159550.html
Fans of Marvel and the “Fast and the Furious” franchise can start placing their bets on what mysterious character is being eyed for Vin Diesel.
Diesel posted on his Facebook page that “Marvel has requested a meeting… no idea what for… haha, you probably know better than me…”
It wouldn’t be surprising if the post is soon removed at the request of Marvel. The company was not very happy when Frank Grillo posted that he would be testing for a part in the role that was later to be revealed to be Crossbones in “Captain America: Winter Soldier.”
Grillo still got the role but Marvel has always been a company that likes to keep things close to the vest.
But what does this meeting involve? Marvel has several films lined up all the way through 2017; and while unnamed at this time, guesses include properties like “Dr. Strange” and “Black Panther.” “Ant-Man” director Edgar Wright, who has already been busy denying casting rumors, is also looking to cast his superhero.
There is also the question of whether the character could be an antagonist in the Marvel Universe. Joss Whedon has still not cast the role of Thanos in “The Avengers 2,” and casting is up and running on that project. A big name like Diesel’s would certainly excite fans of the series.
So what character do you think Diesel is meeting for?

I don't see Dr. Strange. No to Ant-Man. Obviously not Black Panther. I'd assume a villain. Maybe someone for Guardians of the Galaxy?

Vision? Fuck that. Get a real actor in that role, someone like Tom Hardy or just do what Zack Snyder did for Dr. Manhattan and mo--cap it.

article is out of touch since Thanos is not going to be in Avengers 2. Thus it's not really an issue.

Voice of Rocky Raccoon.
And before you say that's a bad idea, Vin Diesel did pretty well voicing an animated character before.

In view of the comments regarding Mr D's thespian abilities, I can only suggest...
...Woodgod "a genetically engineered hybrid clone of man and animal made to look like a mythological satyr with a child-like mind"!
