Hawke's choices puzzle me...
Brent Magna must get behind the wheel and follow the orders of a mysterious man to save his kidnapped wife.

WB has just dropped this, wiped their hands, and walked away. The marketing campaign has been hilariously minimal.

from imdb (which explains the 0% on RT)
The film has somewhere around 6150 edits in it in a 97 minute runtime
just alone that sounds like a massive fucking headache

I've always thought she looked like a Hispanic chipmunk. I'm not even sure what she does. Acting? Doesn't seem to be a strong suit. Singing? I'm sure it's autotuned if she does. It makes me feel old saying it, but I can't believe kids like this shit.

some of these reviews are brutal...
...the car chases are dull, the stunt work isn't very interesting, and the characters would have to be fleshed out to become cardboard figures.
If a friend gives you a free ticket, turn it down.
This nonstop chase film could make a critic feel guilty for calling other movies "empty."

Ethan, Ethan, why must you waste your hotness. Take a page from the Matthew MacConaughey (sure it's mispelled) book. Heck take a page from your own book in Gattaca and Dead Poets Society.

As the OP mentioned, his choices are puzzling. Is he financially in trouble? Usually moves like this means you need the cash and you don't give a fuck to what movie you're doing. Or maybe he just likes to work. I dunno.
