This Is Forty (Apatow): Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Megan Fox (2012)
Apparently there is a Knocked Up sequel in the works that focuses on the Paul Rudd/Leslie Mann couple (I believe Leslie Mann played Katherine Heigl's sister?)
I'm glad that Seth Rogen/Heigl is not involved, and excited about seeing the story of Rudd/Mann's character.

Uhhh, yeah. So I'm guessing a dork knocks up a hot chick and they learn to grow together and love one another? I'm out.

I was under the impression it wasn't a sequel but a story based off those side characters. Kind of like the Brand character from FSM.

I guess I wasn't clear that Rogen and Heigl were not involved? But instead the couple of Rudd/Mann?

I didn't think the first one was that great but I'm not really a Seth Rogen fan. I might be interested in seeing this one though since I do tend to like most Paul Rudd films, so if he's the main character I'm in.

They have an "unwanted" third child. Fox is an old flame (or young employee) for Rudd and she has some issues. I liked when Fox did the cute/then-akward/then-psycho girl in Jennifer's Body.

If it begins with Rudd and Fox killing Mann and the rest of the film is them having to cover it up from their suspicious friends and neighbors then I'm all for it!
I will accept a Weekend At Bernie's type situation as well.

i wouldn't be surprised at all if the title has nothing to do with Knocked Up, just having those 2 characters back

Knocked Up is probably a working title. From Rudd's character's background (he's like an A&R guy, right?) Megan Fox is probably a musician he is going to rep.
Or she's his drug dealer. Who knows.

I like how nobody knows anything about this but everyone agrees it's an awful idea. And by "like how" I mean "am baffled by the fact that".

Except for the Asian stoner chick. She was okay.
If I was Rudd's character I would been out of that marriage so fast she wouldn't have to time nag me one last time. I can't imagine having to live the rest of my life with something like that.

This isn't something I feel needs to be seen, but I've liked everything else Apatow has done so I suppose I'd be up for it.

I would have to guess that the title This is Forty says much more about the movie than calling it a "Knocked Up sequel."
