Ok, but it still doesn't make the statement I made incorrect, right? The Bond series of books still became a film in 2012, and the Jurassic Park series of books still resulted in a film made in 2003. Since the question says film or film series, its not necessarily relevant when the film series originated or that they're even part of a series.

Well, if I were the sheepmaster, I would say that Bond and Jurassic Park don't count. If you were the sheepmaster, you'd say they do.

Re: A Good Day To Play Sheep

  • R: Name a book series (more than one book) that became a film or film series released in the last 15 years.

I think the key here is Became

Became past tense of be·come (Verb)
    Verb
    1. Begin to be: "they became angry".
    2. Grow to be; turn into.

I read it as you had to name a book series that had its first, and possibly only, film released in the past 15 years.

George Smiley would be wrong as well, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold came out in the 60's.

The Bourne Identity was made into a T.V. movie back in the 80's, but that should count against it as an answer.

Answers sent. Great questions, especially sheep, I can't see any runaway answers. I used all my slam dunks on one question just because I wasn't confident in my answers to any of the others.

I see 2 with runaways answers. Maybe not unanimous but high enough.

I took thwording to mean that the film had to be released within the last 15 years. And even if the film series had to begin within the last 15 years Casino Royale is a reboot of the Bond franchise and is tye first published Bond novel.

There were a couple that seemed to have obvious answers and I was going to slam dunk them, but then realized they were reverses.

Hey orangecrush I don't want to fill up your PM box but since I f'ed up my answers with the numbers in front of them I'd rather pull out and give my spot to someone else that wants to play than take the automatic 20 points. Thanks.
