Death Race 3 - Awesome prequel that bridges the gap into the Statham one. Saw it on Netflix streaming. It's the Rated R version, so will have to get the Unrated Blu-ray.

The Game -- finally saw this one all the way through. It was interesting to see themes and characters Fincher would later learn to master. Definitely felt amateur hour compared to what he's done since.

Zero Dark Thirty Fantastic movie. Did not have a problem with any of the interrogation scenes but yes they are pretty rough on those people. The only difference I noticed in the movie vs. what I had heard so far, is that in the movie they portray the mysterious third man as someone they knew was there but had never seen. A documentary I had seen claimed they saw a man walking around the compound who they nicknamed "the walker". Then they had to do extensive studying of the footage to determine if he was tall enough to be the 6'4" that Osama was.

Mamá - it was pretty entertaining and on par with The Woman in Black. The audience had a great time.
Hellboy - Director's Cut - Hellboy rocks. May watch part 2 today.

Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning...not very good at all and very disappointed. the fight scenes were terrible and so few and far between. the action in general was just nil. i actually fell asleep during this. wish it were more akin to Regeneration as that surprised the hell out of me. oh well.

Last night I watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine with my son. I've seen it several times and still think it's a decent one-shot... but I'm glad that the new one takes place later in the timeline.

Please Give - I love Catherine Keener in this black comedy. She has perfect timing.
Shampoo - Awesome film by Hal Ashby, with screenplay by Robert Towne and Warren Beatty.

The Red Balloon - wanted to see it again.
Fritz the Cat - random as hell.
South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut - I don't remember seeing it all at once, but I remember the basics. Good stuff.
Boxcar Bertha - Interesting to see Scorsese's early work, this was enjoyable. I'll probably check out Mean Streets this week.

Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!- This is an ultra-violent, but sort of bizarre, spaghetti western starring Tomas Milian. There definitely are some horror undertones, with more than enough blood, guts, and scalps for your viewing pleasure. Blue Underground has to be commended for the spectacular transfer on this BD. A strange movie but I love it.
