Yes. At my local theater, they showed TPM trailer before and after Meet Joe Black.

Buy a copy of the official releases to go with them and you should be able to sleep at night.
I just have horrible nightmares about having the door kicked in by people who come to tell me that orange is the new black every time I see those warnings pop up at the beginning of discs . Given the studios' peculiar aversion to including mono and the endless clusterfuckery that Hong Kong fans have tried so hard to fix, there are all kinds of interesting ones out there too. I sold my DVDs of the SEs, so all I have left are my panned-and-scanned VHS copies.

The annotated screenplays are ok, but the Rinzler books are like all of the best parts of the annotated screenplays and so, so, so much more. Anyone who's a a fan of the original trilogy owes it to themselves to grab all three. Just make sure you have a nice, sturdy coffee table. They're pretty beastly.
Perhaps one days, Star Wars and I can rekindle our love. Come on, Disney!

As long as this is my cellmate, I am OK with that.

I could see the full first trailer being attached to Avengers 2. Disney property and about 6 months before the film is released.

Not sure if it has happened but what if another studio pays Disney to allow them to attach the movie to their film. Yes, it advertises a rival studio's film but they know their film will get a boost of ticket sales due to the trailer itself.

Back when there were prints . Nowadays you can watch trailers until your eyes fall out online, so it isn't that big a deal anyway.

Back then, we dedicated hours to download the trailer.

I remember the first HD trailers were Batman Begins and Serenity way back in 2005. 4k trailers might become the new HD standard someday.

Don't forget having to restart your computer twice, first to update RealPlayer, then to install the newest codec. And by the time you were done, you forgot where you'd found the trailer.

Ah, the good ol' days.

My favorite part of the article is the bit concerning the guy who climbed a tree to take set pictures and then refused to climb down for three hours after a production manager showed up with some policemen.
I read (years ago) that Lucasfilm were unhappy about filming the last 3 in Australia because of all the leaks and props that went missing. I think they regretted not filming it in the UK.

Then, in a few short months, their cheers turned to sobs and they'd bitch for over a decade.

And restarting your computer took like 15 minutes at a time. Conservatively.

Last shot of the teaser?

Spoiler:

LENS FLARE!

http://makingstarwars.net/2014/11/sh...wakens-teaser/

I'd say it's legit, since the Falcon has the new rectangular radar dish seen in the Greenham Common photos.

Strange cause the Falcon doesn't shoot from there unless there is someone up there manning the guns.

Spoiler:
It could be that one of his kids is up there manning the guns or maybe he has another crew member on the Falcon besides himself, Chewie, and presumably Leia.

so how fit is Carrie Fisher now? Cuz I keep seeing some photos that are "more recent" but still looks heavy.
