After the crawl there is just empty space and then slowly on the left hand side of the screen Vader's hand comes into view. Then at the right side Luke's hand comes in and they meet at the middle and then have a game of thumb war.

Too bad that scene of him running didn't take place later in the film or he could have been smuggling out Luke's hand.

That's it! Genius! The two amputated hands crashed into one another in space and then plummeted to the surface of Tatooine. Think of it as a "Jedi yin-yang" that represents the balance of the Force. (This concept of "balance" in the Force - or good and evil in other material - always bothered me. If there must be balance, there must be evil and good cannot always win. By vanquishing evil, one only creates more evil to balance.)

He lost at least 30 lbs. - it was contractual. I think he lost a bit more than that though, given some of the pics we've seen from a year or so ago.

Yeah. Seems like he went all out for it. Which is cool for us. how physical he can be now? That's what u wonder. I'm assuming the ST. Jedi fights won't be as ridiculous as the PT ones for at times.
