Nope. Fox doesn't have those characters. Nice try, though

A case could be made for IM2, since it was a competently made albeit tremendously dull prequel for The Avengers.
They really are a lot better, it just happens you're in the minority that disagrees.

Fair. A good bit of Thor was cringe enducing, all of Captain America was. IM2 managed to be boring. None of them came close to the shittiness of DC's Green Lantern.

But those may be accurate to the comics at least, I know X3 was not, and Fantastic Four felt like it was from a different era of comic book movies.

Millar comments:

"It's way too early to talk about plans just yet, but as you can imagine the idea here is to make exactly the kind of superhero movies you and I want to see most," Millar said in his post. "There literally isn't a more talented bunch of film-makers to be working with and the team at Fox are incredibly excited about this bold new direction too. I also want to post this here to say thanks for the hundreds of emails I woke up to this morning and the thousand-plus tweets I got overnight from well-wishers. I wish I had time to reply to them all today -- I usually reply to most of my tweets @mrmarkmillar -- but this morning was an AVALANCHE and so I just wanted to so a big thanks, that I've read every one and that they're hugely appreciated. A highlight, I think, was well-wishes from Stan The Man himself. That's like the Pope sending a message. Couldn't have been more exciting."

Thor was mediocre when it was on Earth. Off of Earth? Fucking greatness. Cap was good. IM2 was alright. Had promise but too much and too little in it.

Off of Earth, imo, Thor went to full Power Rangers mode. Was corny as hell imo.

But I figured I wasn't the target audience for that one.

...Power Rangers mode? No...I don't see it. Played like a dramatic play, not comparing it to but, it was kind of like a Shakespeare thing. The drama, the emotions flowing, etc etc.

Really? Loki was the best thing out of it. Loved the character. Not even a big Thor fan, though I do like the character..the comic one more than the film one. He's alright on film...could be better.

I hated Loki, both in Thor and The Avengers, and not in some "You're supposed to hate the bad guy" way, he was annoying and unconvincing.

But as usual not everything is going to work for everybody.

Odd. To me...he was the best villain out of the MCU.

Re: Mark Millar Will Oversee Fox's Marvel Films

I went into Thor expecting it to be the worse of the Marvel films and probably enjoyed it the most, and I hate the character.

, watched Ace Ventura a lot as a kid... A LOT. My boss has been going on about how awesome Marvel films are lately, I think that's amped up my dislike of movies I didn't really hate.
