Synopsis:
“Dead in Tombstone” tells the story of an outlaw named Guerrero Hernandez (Danny Trejo) who, whilst attempting to free his half-brother (Anthony Michael Hall) from a small-town prison, is shot in the back and killed. Making a deal with the devil (Mickey Rourke), Hernandez returns from the dead to take his revenge.
Trejo as a Mexican Cowboy. Looks pretty badass.

Danny Trejo and Anthony Michael Hall as half-brothers...the mind boggles.
I would have bought it if it were Trejo and Rourke as half-brothers and Hall as the Devil.

How could Mickey Rourke revive his career the way he did and then start doing DTV shit again?

Ummm...because he is a pain in the ass to work with and already burned any goodwill he got. No one wants to work with him again because of that. Hopefully he saved some money this time around. His days on the A/B/C list are gone. AND please don't say but he is in Expendibles 3. That is D list shit.

That's a shame. I was happy he was "back".

Just rented this from Red Box last night.
Really surprised, I thought it was pretty good. Lots of action and killing & has a little bit of a supernatural/horror element as well.
Trejo was pretty fucking badass. He plays an outlaw and leader of a group of bandits who is betrayed by his half brother & is murdered. He gets sent straight to hell and makes a deal with the devil (Rourke) that he will deliver the souls of his former gang to get his life back.
And Dina Meyer is fricking hot as hell.
If your a fan of Trejo & want to see him be a badass mother fucker for 99 minutes, this is a good rental. I mean this is from the director of the Death Race sequels, so if you enjoy straight to video action movies like those, then I think you will like this as a good time killer. I know Direct to Video movies don't get talked about here and are loathed most of the time because of their budgets.
