I really liked that trailer. Just what I'm looking for from this movie.

Side note : I know it's just a joke in this trailer, but that panning night-time shot of the cityscape that opened it is almost exactly the same as the opening of (no exaggeration) three trailers I saw before Top Five last Friday night.

Good trailer. Considering the last few seasons of the show, I was not expecting much from this movie. I'm still not but I do feel that having Ari be the studio head is enough of a change to keep it from feeling like it's the same rehashed story. We'll see.

Will this movie be more like the first few seasons of Entourage where it was a guilty pleasure comedy, or more like the last 2 seasons where they tried to get all dramatic with the characters and their storylines?

Hopefully it will be more light-hearted and comedic like the early years of Entourage.

I've always been the biggest Entourage apologist... And really the on.y time I ever hated the show was the last episode or two when they forced those stupid marriages. It was like a chick took over the writing for it.

That being said, I'd love if this led to more movies in the future (or even a return of the series), but if anything, as long as it provides a better send off than the terrible series finale, I'm happy!

Since this was Sex & The City for men, they need to learn the lesson from S&TC and stop after 1 good movie.

Was anyone really clamoring for an Entourage movie? Why didn't they just do this as a TV movie or a few more episodes of the series? These actors don't belong on the big screen.

I believe a chick did take over the writing for it.

That was a cool trailer. I really liked the movie within the show part. They filmed that right there in DTLA.

If God had wanted Adrian Grenier to be a movie star, He would have put him in GREEN LANTERN.

Man, you're selling his indelible career-defining performance as Anne Hathaway's boyfriend in Devil Wears Prada so short.

Sorry, but I agree with Ash. I was never a fan of the TV show, only because of the cast. I really liked the concept. But the actors were such unlikeable douchebags (IMO). And aside from Piven, none have worked much since the show ended.

Agreed. The last season or two sucked balls, because they made the guys pussies and tried to redeem their exciting lifestyles. Fuck all that. Their fucking outrageous rich and famous lifestyles were the entire fucking point! I lived vicariously through that shit, yo!

Entourage should have ended with Vinny getting The Great Gatsby. Everything after that was horrible, the Enzo/Sasha Grey storyline especially, and the final season was a heaping pile of shit.

The trailer looks fun... and no Scott Caan would be a plus (or Seth Green for that matter).

There was a picture when this all started that showed Caan as part of the cast... As far as I know, he'll be in it.

As far as unnecessary films are concerned, this one looks fun. That's all Entourage was originally about anyway. Doug Ellin is writer and director, so this should feel more like the beginning of the series, more or less, with some added story progression, like Ari being a head of a studio. If HBO is smart, they will try to make Entourage available on every streaming subscription service to maximize a theatrical audience.

Well, if nothing else, we can look forward to a big Mark Kermode rant then.
