Yeah, 90 minutes of that can't be bad, right?

No. Just no. He doesn't deserve to be in this franchise to make it worse he has ZERO on screen presence. He'd stick out horribly. Unless they just had him run around and not stop..sure. But the moment you get him to sit still and try to emote/act or whatever it all fucking falls apart.

Re: The Expendables 3

It's bizarre that the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) hasn't been attached to any of these movies. Seems like a natural fit.

Re: The Expendables 3

Since Antonio Banderas had to decline a role in The Expendables 2 and, due to budget constraints, Danny Trejo was written out of The Expendables, I wonder if those two could appear as a villainous duo in The Expendables 3.

Trejo would then betray his Spanish boss and become an official Expendable. "The Mexican."

Re: The Expendables 3

I want to see a scene where the Avengers show up and get in the Expendables' way and the Expendables kick each and every one of the Avengers' asses--including the Hulk.

Does Danny Trejo really get written out of a role due to budget constraints?

Re: The Expendables 3

I thought Trejo was out cuz Machete and Predators were coming close and he had to choose those over Expendables? Expendables had a period where casting was taking too long. I thought Trejo was out cuz of that time period extension?

Re: The Expendables 3

I think Harrison Ford is 70 now, and Clint Eastwood is over 80. No way either one would be in EX3. I only wish they could get Clive Owen, he deserves it from being in Shoot Em Up.

Last I recall, Stallone said Trejo's character was supposed to have some big action sequence but they couldn't afford it. So they merged his character with what became Rourke's character.

Re: The Expendables 3

Can we make a definitive list of manly-men who belong in this? Then we can narrow down potential casting choices.

as a kid in the early 90s. My dad have every HK flick you could have on VHS. Unfortunately...as a little kid..anytime I saw Bruce L(insert letter) I always though it was Bruce Lee...thinking they just spelled it weird and that...something was a bit off w/ Lee's face..but...he was kicking ass so I was cool. Didn't know till I was 12 or 13 that Lee himself only did a few. The rest were Bruce Lee exploitation films.

Hey Ash maybe you know what's that Bruce Le or Li or whatever film where he's like a constable in old China where he has to get a bunch of crooks (w/ one woman in there too) together to kill some warlord? Had Bolo Yeung in it too, I think. The villain had a condition where he had to sniff something. And that was his demise essentially when one of the crooks swallows it to keep it away from him. I really liked that one. Also there a was fight w/ a big guy and one of heroes puts oil on himself to escape his grip. Again...I really enjoyed this flick as a kid. The villain is a recognized actor I think..I can never forget his face. Maybe you know the film?

Re: The Expendables 3

We need Carter "Born Invincible" Wong in this as some sort of warlord. And his chief lieutenants should be played by Peter Kwong and James Pax.

I have to admit I'm stumped. I may even have it in my collection, but I've seen so many of these films and the plot details all kind of blur together. I just looked over Bolo Yeung's filmography on IMDB and he did lots of films with Bruce clones, but the ones that had plot summaries didn't seem to match your description. (Not that IMDB isn't missing quite a few films.)

Eastwood would be the hard one to get...I can actually see Ford agreeing to it...for heaven's sake, the guy agreed to a cameo in BRUNO.
