None of this is a surprise to me. I first saw most of these performers when they looked that way. The surprise for me with some of them is seeing how they look now!
Oh, and Betty White looks better today than she does in that old picture.

Michael Caine was so attractive when he was young that I still kind of see that guy when I watch his current projects.

Really? I think Sean Bean looks better now. Back then he looked like a young Matt Damon (when he looked rather goofy).

It's amazing how well most of those actors have aged. Firth, McKellen and Walken actually looked better, or more formidable, as they got a few years under their belt. I'm suprised no one has mentioned Judi Dench. I had never seen a picture of her as a young woman. She looks lovely. Sally Field looked like she was 18 until she was about 45.

And like JesseCuster I had never ever seen Judi Dench in her younger days. Looked good too.
Jane Seymour has always been a sexpot like Mirren. And yea, Lansbury looked sexy too.
A lot of these people have aged well/gracefully, but man, aging sure is a bitch.
