First up, the eagerly-awaited Tomorrowland, directed by Brad Bird and starring George Clooney, has moved from its original release date of December 12th 2014, slap bang into the middle of the summer 2015 pile-up. It will now arrive on May 22nd 2015,

Well, where else are they going to put it? They're not going to put it at Christmas, so it's Summer 2015 or bump it all the way to Summer 2016. Unless they can have it ready for Christmas 2014, which seems unlikely.

Well, they had to put something in the slot that Episode VII left. Looks like this is the proverbial sacrificial lamb for the summer. At least we have something original going up against all the sequels coming out that year and hopefully it doesn't just get forgotten after World's Finest and Age of Ultron.

Summer 2015 will be a slaughterhouse. The first ones out the gate will do well but everything after is looking at a struggle.

They are actually filming some scenes for this not too far from where I live today and tomorrow. Clooney is allegedly in town , though I am pretty sure they have him staying at the Disney resorts in Orlando.

I'm referring to both. In the originally released press kit there seemed to be some suggestion that the film in some way was about Walt Disney and the construction of Disneyland.

I'm talking about this:
And at one time the film was titled simply 1952. Which was 3 years before Disneyland opened.
Oh yeah and here's a mystery box marked 1952, which Lindelof allegedly found at Disney and got to writing after that. The aintitcool article provides explanations of some of the contents.
