Re: SAW May Return With James and Leigh

I think the "may" here is less a possibility and more of a "well, I wouldn't refuse to". It doesn't sound like something either of them are actively considering.

Re: SAW May Return With James and Leigh

Why? Why can't they let things go. The first one was just okay. I know I'm in the minority but I think we can all agree it was diminishing returns on each sequel that came in.

Re: SAW May Return With James and Leigh

Saw 8 really? I'm sure Tobin Bell would love the paycheck again, but John Kramer/Jigsaw has been dead for how many years now? Unless this new installment is dedicated to some copycat or loyal followers of Kramer, it wouldn't make any sense to have more flashbacks. I think they've exhausted all flashback storylines for him.

I always liked the game concept of Saw, but it does need a fresh start.

Re: SAW May Return With James and Leigh

If they can take the concept and do something fresh, i'm game. Definitely should get away from the original Jigsaw stuff though.

Re: SAW VIII - Rumors, News, etc.

The last one left it wide open for a continuation.

Re: SAW VIII - Rumors, News, etc.

They REALLY shot themselves in the foot by killing Jigsaw off so early. The only possible option is a reboot, which might be interesting if they do it like a sequel, but just bring back Bell and have him be Jigsaw again.

Re: SAW VIII - Rumors, News, etc.

I thought Saw was just okay and all of the sequels have been pretty meh. Just never got that into the series.

Re: SAW VIII - Rumors, News, etc.

Since its exit, Paranormal Activity has become the reigning champion of the month of October (sans this year).
I hate journalists that use this word. It's French; leave it that way. Use it in a sentence (like the one above) when speaking, and you sound like a fool. Sans this year. Sans this year. Go fuck yourself this year. /rant

Re: SAW VIII - Rumors, News, etc.

Yeah, because we have no words that are derived from French, or are still used as a complete French word in English conversation.

There are tons. That one in particular is terrible, though.
