What is the WORST Jurassic Park movie?

Personally, I hated The Lost World and thought JP3 was a lot of fun. I'm curious how others compare these two films to each other, but I'm also curious if anyone actually thinks the original film is the worst of the series.

I'd say The Lost World by far. Could barely stand watching it the first time I ever saw it and it hasn't gotten better the couple times I've seen it since. Jurassic Park 3 is not great by any means either, but I at least didn't hate it as much.

Agree with the Lost World selection; it had some cool ideas like the raptors in the tall grass or the t-rex waterfall but it was really basic in the plot and regressed from what the first one was.

I still want the damn Jurassic Park IV movie with talking raptors shooting machine guns and lasers damn it!

I liked all three, including The Lost World and don't get the hate it gets. Then again, I love dino movies.

3 was a fun movie. 2 had a few nice set pieces but was a train wreck of a movie. It made no sense. Postlethwaite was wasted, Vince Vaughn was an asshole and Malcolms daughter was a ridiculous character. All the firepower and not a single dino was shot. The end with the T Rex was asinine. Overall a stupid movie. They should have just given the company men walkie talkies in stead of guns. Spielberg proving again that guns don't kill anything.

Yup. I didn't think Lost World was that bad, but that moment killed the movie for me.

Lost World by far. Part 3 was actually pretty fun, and Part 1 is now a modern classic.

Jurassic Park 3 for me. I didn't care for Lost World either, but JP3 just always felt like one step above a DTV release. Plus the ending of 3 was redonkulous.

JP3 is the worst by far. The Rambo-kid with the smoke grenades was just too freaking stupid, and Macy and Leoni were annoying as hell.

The Lost World may not be great, but it's got some good things going for it: Pete Postlethwaite, the T-Rex attack on the big RV by the cliff, the raptors in the tall grass, and ESPECIALLY the T-Rex on the loose in the city. That final sequence in The Lost World elevates it far above JP3.

3 was bad, but it was short and mainly knew what kind of movie it was. The Lost World, on the other hand, tried to capture the majesty of the first, and failed miserably. Terrible film.

I enjoy them all but Lost World would be my least fave. The gymnast and San Diego crap knock it down quite a bit.

Part 3, on the other hand succeeded at being a fun monster movie and didn't try to be anything but, so it's a fun ride.

Lost World - the film felt overly long and ponderous

III - was just sheer fun, a ton more dinos and action and under two hours.

why is LOST WORLD losing, that is still a spielberg movie, in his prime, a lot of his talent went into it, while JP 3 is really bad

^ actually I think it's cause Spielberg served a template for what Bay could do, throw everything but the kitchen sink at the audience, let the story go on and on and ultimately feel pretty vapid as a result.

Went with The Lost World as well because of this part that would only be topped years later by Shia swinging through the jungle with monkeys as most ridiculous moment in a Spielberg film

I found all 3 Jurassic Park movies to be entertaining and so did not vote in this poll. Don't get the hate for Lost World, my wife and I both thought it was pretty good. If anything, I hated the ignorance portrayed by Téa Leoni's character in Jurassic Park III and badly wanted her to get eaten by T Rex. Enjoyed all 3 movies though. -kd5-

All were good to me. JPII was the lesser of the 3 but still fun in it's own way. Plus Pete Postlethwaite was in it playing a kick ass character.

I still laugh when I think of the Sat Phone ringing in the Dino's tummy in JPIII.

Whatever one has Vince Vaughn in it. By definition, any movie that contains Vince Vaughn, automatically makes it the worse.
