Help with a family movie, with dad in prison

Hi all,

I once started watching a movie about a family with the father/husband in prison, but couldn't finish it for one reason or the other. In that movie, the wife and kids went to visit the man in prison. While there, they watched they watched him engage in a game of thug of war, which he lost, much to his irritation/shame, and to the disappointment of the visiting family. The wife later informed him when they were alone that one of their daughters was pregnant, and he really got upset. That was as far as I went.

Does any one know the movie and its title? I'd love to finish it

Sounds like an episode of Oz (Paula Garces played the pregnant daughter).

Thanks guys, but it's neither Bambi nor The Shawshank Redemption. It's a movie set in the US. One more tip. In the thug of war game, there was mud btw the two teams, and the man in prison was dragged down into it, before his family, and after appearing to be the macho guy. It was actually a visitors day in the prison.
