Rotten Tomatoes 50 Best Horror Movies (2010 edition)

I know most people hate these types of lists around here,
but this is one of the most baffling. Without looking at the
comments first, notice any glaring omissions?

I hate clicking through lists over at RT.

Also, I hate lists.

Too...much....effort.

Must...rest.

Can someone just post the list of the 50 films. Thanks in advance.

Zombieland has no business at all being on that list. Not even close.

The Thing seems like an obvious omission.

I don't consider Silence of the Lambs a horror film. I really don't consider Aliens one either, but at least I can see the arguments for that one.

Drag Me To Hell ahead of the original Halloween......The Shining, The Exorcist and The Thing not on the list is all you need to know on how credible this list is.

50 films listed and "The Exorcist" no where to be found !?? Epic fail. Also, where is "Poltergeist", "The Thing", "The Shining" and "The Omen" (original of course)??

if it doesn't have The Exoricist on it, I might as well not even bother.

Don't. And the responses have all echoed the same sentiment. How the fuck can you compile a list of the scariest films of all time and not include "The Exorcist" anywhere on it!? And "Zombieland" (which I loved), IS on it!! I mean, are you fucking kidding me? I'm not going back on that list, but I don't even think "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later" was on there either.

Just reading here what was left off makes me laugh. I fart in its general direction.

Did you know that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, directed by Tobe Hooper, was released in 1999? Neither did I, until I read this ridiculous list.

I don't know what criteria they used to develop this list, but it was astoundingly awful.

Their metrics are incredibly stupid, based partly upon how many reviews a movie received. I guess if Patch Adams had 700 reviews on RT then it would be the number one scariest movie. Wait a minute ...
