Just saw it with a midnight crowd and enjoyed it. A good summer action movie, that didnt take itself seriously. I agree with the comparisons to Star Trek. Lots of good humor too which the audience I was with seemed to like.

Just got back from the movie. I liked it a lot. It was a very enjoyable dumb action movie, something this summer season has been missing so far.
Oh and stay after the credits, there's something cool for fans of the TV show.

Okay, technically a question about the TV show, but will most likely have a better chance of getting answered here.
I remember in the final season
Slight Spoilers if you never watched
Murdock was not one of the members of the team on trial when they finally got apprehended and sentenced to death(all a fake) . He gave testimony at the trial, but seemed to have been treated differently from the other three. Was this due to him being mentally ill? Just curious. Thanks!

Murdock was never charged/convicted with the original crimes, just the other 3. He wasn't a fugitive.

I thought it was awesome - just a fun blast from start to finish. The cast nailed it, the dialogue was great (despite the somewhat tired plot) and the pacing was fantastic. The first really exciting movie of the summer IMO. Really happy about this one, definitely seeing this again! "Overkill is underrated"

I had a blast watching this. Probably one of the most exciting action movies I've seen this year. I think the entire cast nailed their characters, especially Neeson and Rampage. I haven't seen Rampage act on anything, but he was solid playing BA.
Loved the ridiculously over the top action scenes. If I had to nit pick, I think they went a little ape shit crazy on the CGI, but I thought it fit the mold of the movie.
The scene that I thought was cool was in the last 1/3 of the movie when they were at the airport and Hannibal changed his appearance, which was actually Neeson's real look/hair.
BTW, how smoking hot is Jessica Biel? Also, the dark haired chick with glasses who gave "Lynch" the bird was pretty damn hot too.
Very fun movie, I would definitely see a sequel if they made one and will happily re-visit this on BR.
Glad I read this thread about the bonus scenes after the end credits before I left to the theatre today.

I loved it. A big, dumb, fun summer action movie in the best way. It actually reminded me of Mission: Impossible (the movie), as it had a lot of similar beats (but with more humor). I was quite surprised, as I thought Smoking Aces was a steaming pile of shit, but Carnahan pulled it off. I recommend it without hesitation.

She was the one who handed him the phone when he received the call from Hannibal.
Her name is Natalie James. Looks like she has a very light acting resume.

Saw it. This is what a summer movie is all about. Mindless fun that doesn't insult the audience.
Everyone was great in their role, even Rampage considering his limited acting ability. Copley had Murdock down to an art form, he's truly a gifted actor. The only real gripe I have is with Jessica Biel. Her acting wasn't bad, but I felt her character really served no purpose other than to have a love interest for Face and give the female audience members something to like. And maybe provide eye candy, but she's really not my type. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise fun and free spirited movie.

Saw it, can't ask for anything more from a summer movie, let alone an A-Team movie.

Apparently there was a huge Trekkie on the staff of this film cause he credited Dwight Schultz as playing Reginald Barclay during the credits.
