Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

Over the last decade, we've collected reviews for thousands of movies. Most films, even profoundly mediocre ones, can expect to receive at least cursory support from the pundits. However, once in a while, a film will take such a critical drubbing that further attention is warranted. That's where our Worst of the Worst list comes in. We've compiled a veritable cornucopia of dull, foolhardy, and outright terrible films, from legendary duds (Battlefield Earth) to chuckle-deficient comedies (Epic Movie), from hapless sequels (Basic Instinct 2) to scare-free would-be fright fests (Alone in the Dark). We've pored over the reviews to bring you the lowest Tomatometers of the decade -- including several (All About Steve, Whiteout) that were released within the last several weeks. In other words, we suffered for our work -- now it's your turn.

I was amazed that Norbit didn't make the list. It had a tomato-meter rating of 9% and the highest rated on this list scored 7%.

I am quite contented that, other than about 30 minutes of The Whole Ten Yards, I have seen none of these films.

What i've seen:

'Basic Instinct 2' was made as trashy fun and it succeeds on that level.

'Kaena: The Prophecy' was completely forgettable, but not something that stands out as "worst of" material.

'Rollerball' was fun in a ridiculously over-the-top, campy sort of way.

'Pinocchio' - The reviews at RT are mostly for the recut and dubbed version the Weinsteins put out. The original Italian version isn't terrible.

'The Adventures of Pluto Nash' - I'm not going to defend it, but certainly it was better than 'Norbit'.

I've only seen one movie on this list: Miss March, and that's because I liked about 50% of the skits on The Whitest Kids U'Know and I wanted to see how incredibly bad the movie could be. It should be even higher on this list.

I think you answered why Norbit wasn't included.

The only ones I've seen are:

...and I might have seen Twisted and Ballistic, but I'm not sure.

I agree they're all crap, but mostly just forgettable. I honestly can't remember enough about them to say they were some worst movies I've ever seen. Although, House of the Dead stands out and would definitely be on my list. Where's Grandma's Boy? I'd take The New Guy over that any day.

Guess I did exactly as everyone else, scanning the list to see how many I've seen. I think it's between 6-8 of 'em. The only one that was "cringe-inducing" was The Master of Disguise, though I do have one scene that stood out to me:

I've seen Godsend and Lost Souls, don't remember either one except for the fact that they were bad.

All in all, pretty good list, looks like they have most of the crap from the past decade listed.

The original, Italian version of Benigni’s Pinocchio is actually decent. The English version was marred by ridiculous dubbing which brought the whole movie down.

I've only seen two, Fear Dot Com & King's Ransom (I've seen worse movies than these, but the latter gets special praise from me. I can't complain much about a movie that has Kellita Smith,Leila Arceri,and Nicole Ari Parker in it)
