The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
Funny teaser.
A teaser trailer for Todd Phillips’ latest comedic offering, The Hangover, has hit the web. Starring three of the most underappreciated actors working today, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, Hangover centers around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him. Hitting theaters in June, the flick also stars Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Rachael Harris, Dan Finnerty and Jeffrey Tambor. |

Re: The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
The synopsis makes this sound like it should be called "Dude, Where's The Groom?"

Not much there but it looks like dumb fun. I'm down for that, probably as a rental.

Short, but looks hilarious. I'll see it.

Re: The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
Looks surprisingly good. I think Observe and Report looks better, but the bit with Mike Tyson had me laughing my ass off, watched that part about 20 times and it didn't get any less funny.

^that bit acutally got an applause (granted it was a midnight showing

I hate to say it, but Observe and Report is one of the worst films of the year.

Re: The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
Saw this for the first time last night. Laughed my ass for the first half of the movie...
Spoiler:
Not a bad flick (actually, some pretty hiliarious scenes), but certainly second half not as good as first 45 minutes of film. I'd give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5. |

Re: The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
Who would have guessed this would become the highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all-time?
$272m and counting... and I still haven't seen it. |

No. I don't know why I didn't catch it in theaters. I'll likely buy the BD once it comes out.

Re: The Hangover---Latest from Todd Phillips
Is this really the only thread for this film?
I thought this movie was pretty damn hilarious the whole way through - there's a lot of subtle/dry humour in this movie (my fav kind) and it worked really well. For those that didn't like Old School - don't worry, this movie is much better - wouldn't mind watching this one again soon. |
