Zoolander 2 (2/12/2016, D: Stiller) S: Stiller, Wilson

From imdb.com:

Stiller Confirms Zoolander Sequel

1 December 2008 5:38 PM, PST | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Hollywood funnyman Ben Stiller has confirmed he is working on a sequel to his 2001 comedy hit Zoolander.

Stiller, who played a dim-witted model in the original movie, is in talks to get production rolling on a follow-up and is currently looking at scripts.

The comedian insists he has always wanted to complete the story and is delighted that Zoolander 2 is finally close to being made.

He says, "I've been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we've had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first."

Stiller also recently confirmed he is planning a third installment of his successful Meet The Parents franchise, which will see him reunite with Robert De Niro.

I liked Zoolander, but I don't really think it was big enough to warrant a sequel.

Zoolander helped me to start laughing again after 9/11. I know it sounds corney but its true.

I wonder if Vince Vaughn will have a speaking role in it.

But I think it could be funny.

WENN isn't always accurate when it comes to news.. so I'd take this as a grain of salt.

I also thought "Little Fockers" was well underway - I didn't know a script wasn't even done yet.

Zoolander is still my favorite Ben Stiller movie, so if the sequel is even only half as good, I'd still love it.

Don't care for Wacky Ben Stiller. I just don't get the attraction. My own personal hell would be Ben Stiller and Robin Williams starring in a movie where they play zanny characters.

I will see Little Fockers though. Normal Ben Stiller is the Ben Stiller for me!

Over the top Stiller plays better in retrospect. Wasn't crazy about Zoolander or Tropic Thunder upon initial viewing but several scenes and a ton of quotes stuck in my head from each film. They're crap, but they're funny and rewatchability is high. Sequels are almost always a bad idea but for harmless fluff like Zoolander it's not a bad idea.

I love Zoolander. He should make back-to-back sequels as the ultimate joke.

For a moment there, I thought they'd be saying our eugoogalies!

Also, I hope Duchovny comes back.
