As much as I agree with most of the choices, the truth is a lot of these women have had a little work done on themselves. It's easy to look "younger" when you have the means to do so. I mean, there's genes and all, but I wonder if these women would look as gorgeous if they didn't have so much money.

^^^ It's their careers on the line for a lot of these women. The people demand perfection.

And you'd be right about that. For better or worse, their livelihood depends on how they look.

I'm just sayin' I really would never delude myself into thinking these are women who look naturally that way, or that if they weren't in those positions would look just as gorgeous. It may seem kinda obvious, I just wanted to point that out just in case.

Do a search for "celebrities without makeup." It will blow your mind.

Personally, I have found personal tastes in what is and is not attractive to be pretty much unswayable. Trying to convince in matters such as these makes about as much sense as trying to have sex with an electric fence. Just my $0.02.
Tilda Swinton is a great actress but attractive she is not.

Patricia Clarkson is certainly do-able.

Agree about Tilda. Good actress, but zero sex appeal.

Heather Locklear is still very attractive at age 47, even though she does cake on the makeup for her movie/TV roles.

For some reason I've also found Patricia Heaton kind of hot even though she's had alot of work done.

Agreed, there is a scene in Sneakers where she has a very quiet voice that I just fell in love with.
Also this picture, with the slight showing of a bra drives me wild!

Back in the early 90's I owned a limousine service. We didn't get big names in Rochester but we would get a lot of B-listers who would show up for different events. Let me tell you, when these ladies get off a plane, especially from the west coast they look very plain Jane. They still look very attractive but it's a shock to realize how much the makeup and the lighting can do for them.

Some of the names on this list that people consider "older women" are making me feel old. And I'm 26.

I'll go the other end of the spectrum and say Jane Fonda who still looks good at 70.

Hands down, Monica Bellucci is the most beautiful woman in the world, still, and will continue to be for many years (IMO). She puts many many younger women to shame.

Also...I'm a big fan of Gina Gershon. She is just...wow.

Others...that hollywood considers 'older'- Diane Lane, Sophie Marceau, Elizabeth Shue...i had a few more in mind, but my brain is stuck on Bellucci right now.

Had most of those we discussed. How could I have forgotten Maura Tierney and Sandra Bullock, two of my favorites?

And I'm still surprised to not see Angela Bassett show up on any lists. I guess guys are really scared of chicks with muscles.

Lauren Hutton. Check out her nude scene in 'Manchild' and tell me there's a hotter 65 year old on the planet.
My god her skin is silky smooth. She makes Helen Mirren look like an old mummy

She's also the lead actress in ER this season.

The mention of Ms. Bassett made me think of the lovely Alfre Woodard, who is well into her 50s now:

Also worth mentioning, Hope Davis, 44:
