Wow. Hopefully it wont suck as much as the first one. Saw it in theaters, and I either left early or blocked out the second half of the movie, it was so bad.

Good to finally hear from the majority opinion.

Unbankable is more like it.

I'd go for a Unbreakable Trilogy. I wish he had done that in the first place.

The first time I saw Unbreakable I was eagerly awaiting a sequel (or a trilogy) but as time has gone on and I can accept Unbreakable for what it is, I really don't think it needs a sequel.

Man, 2 pages and I'm the only one who admits to liking this movie?!

I liked Unbreakable in the theater but didn't come to really like it until home video.

I wonder if Buena Vista would have rights to the sequel? Seemed like they probably wouldn't want to work with MNS after the way he split with them to go to WB.

Considering that he scrapped Unbreakable II (which I understood would have been called Breakable and the third in the trilogy would have been called Broken) because it didn't make enough money and now he's not making enough money on his craptacular movies, I am less than excited about this sequel than I would have been a few years back. Let's face it: his recent track record just plain sucks, and sequels on a whole are not as good as the original. I enjoyed the heck out of Unbreakable, so if he faltered on the sequel, I'd really give up on him.

I say he should just let this one go...I think the window of opportunity passed on this one.

Knowing Shamalans track record, he will probably be doing this for the Sci Fi channel.

I like Unbreakable. If I had to list his movies in order of best to worst, Unbreakable would be at the top of the list.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but I am the only one who likes Unbreakable as well.

It's the only Shyamalan movie I like.

I love reminiscing about how innovative and amazing I was/am. I will often interrupt other people's topics of conversation by blurting out, "God, I am a storytelling genius. Remember when I took so many risks?"

In all seriousness, despite his seemingly direct 90 degree plunge towards the bottom of the barrel, I would totally still see an Unbreakable sequel if he lured his original cast back.

Not that anyone else liked Unbreakable but me.

I like Unbreakeable enough to carry it around in my backpack in the hopes of running into MNS.

Unbreakable was terrific and the story lends itself to further exploration. The reason why some were disappointed with it initially is because most were expecting and wanting The Sixth Sense 2 when it was released and felt insulted that they actually got "a comic-book flick" instead. Easily Shyamalan's best film.

I don't know what the hell you all are talking about I loved Unbreakable.

On a related note I just finished finally seeing The Happening tonight and Jeezum crow did that really suck. I've been a M. Night apologist for a long while, defending the man as his films steadily got worse, but THAT was the last straw. It sucked on almost every level.

Please, come up with the story for Unbreakable 2 if you like but let someone else actually write it (especially the dialog).

^ Yep, I gave up being an apologist with Lady In The Water, which was just pretentious ass. I actually didn't hate The Village, as it was pretty watchable. I would probably enjoy Unbreakable 2.

Sixth Sense was his best movie. The village and Unbreakable were good. Sighns and the rest were pretty bad; haven't seen the Happening yet though.

Sixth Sense would probably have the best chance as a success as a sequel. But that idea has already been stolen as there's a show out that steals the premise in Ghost Whisperer, and Dean Koontz took the idea to write his "odd" trilogy.

If this pans out, I'd buy my first ticket for one of his films since "Signs."
