Spoiler:
Didn't Nolan say pretty much right away after The Dark Knight was released that he wouldn't recast The Joker or make references to him in a future film after Ledger died? Not sure why people are surprised by the fact that he's not being mentioned.

It would have been a great tribute like when Natalie Wood had BRAINSTORM and Bruce Lee had GAME OF DEATH. Fans would have loved it.
People would have cheered if the Joker was shown again even if for seconds.
There had to have been some unused footage of the Joker from the last film.

You are a wacko. Woods was in Brainstorm and Lee was in Game of death how do those movies correspond with Rises?

While this might be old news, I saw on IMDB that the CIA agent from the Prologue was played by Aiden Gillen, AKA Littlefinger on Game of Thrones.

It's actually 95% fresh or 5% rotten, don't know where you got that number.

This is the correct answer. Force unused Joker footage to make part of the movie incredibly awkward. You are a genius, wmlopez!*Jules gives wmlopez a full kiss on lips.*

It was a joke.

But I see it's dropped to 47% fresh now.

They can just use on-set interviews of Ledger in makeup.

Batman: "Hello, Joker".

Joker: "Hello."

Batman: "Any ideas on how I can deal with this Bane character?"

Joker: "When I developer a character it is a specific process-"

Batman: "TELL ME NOW!"

Joker: "Are we still shooting?"

Batman: "Shooting, no...I don't carry a gun."

Joker: "It was easy to romance Maggie because I romanced her brother in a previous role."

Batman: "Do you mean Rachel?"

Joker: "Yes"

Batman: "These are the insane ramblings of a crazy person. I'm done here."

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I find it funny that a lot of people are suddenly caring about rottentomatoes now with The Dark Knight Rises, but yet back with Amazing Spider-Man they said rottentomatoes didn't matter at all because they were all studio plants.

I don't remember a lot of people saying that about Spider-Man at all.

Got my $25 Trilogy ticket for Thursday night. 6:30 BB, 9:xx Dark Knight, 12:01 Dark Knight Rises. Then I plan on seeing it with my wife on Saturday morning in IMAX at my preferred theatre. Cannot wait.

Doing the same thing. Thursday will be a long night but I'm sure I won't notice that much seeing BB and TDK on the big screen again.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Interesting how many people are booking two shows already. What if the movie sucks?

I went and saw Prometheus twice within a 24 hour period (midnight and the next day), and it was somewhat bittersweet. Granted, the second showing was IMAX and I had planned on it for a while, and I enjoyed it more the second time. However, upon reflection I could have easily done with just the IMAX showing. Too many inconsistencies have come to light since I first saw that movie, and IMAX can lead to overrating due to the great visuals the format offers.

Friday night IMAX showings are already sold out here. My team at work are taking a half day to go at 11:40.

Nicely done. I wish I had your restraint.
