How do you rank the acting ability of pro wrestlers in movies?

Here's my list from best to worst:

1. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
2. Roddy Pipper
3. Jesse Ventura
4. Hulk Hogan
5. John Cena
6. Steve Austin
7. Tyler Mane
8. Nathan Jones
9. Sgt. Slaughter (only in cartoon form)
10. Randy Savage
11. Andre the Giant
12. Triple H
13. Dalip Singh "The Great Khali"
14. Professor Toru Tanaka
15. Glen "Kane" Jacobs
16. Randy Couture

You left out Goldberg, Jerry Lawler, Terry Funk, Bob Orton, Mike Mazurki, Tor Johnson, Lenny Montana, and of course, El Santo!

Mine pretty much comes down to this, I like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as an actor, regardless of his wrestling career -- he's charismatic.

Outside of that, I can't say I really cared for any of em save for Andre the Giant.

Ernie "The Cat" Miller has a prominent role in the upcoming The Wrestler. The Rock and Piper are the only ones that don't make me cringe.

I watched the new Scorpion King and Randy Couture would definitely be at the bottom of any list ever created IMO.

Randy Couture is a professional mixed martial artist -- not a pro wrestler.

Just wanted to clear that up...

And for the record, Suburban Commando is the balls.

Nothing beats a wrasler in a movie playing a wrasler in movies.

Andre gave a great performance in TPB.

Rock has a lot of natural charisma, but I don't think much of his acting ability.

Piper is a little better, but not much. He has had some decent low budget action pics though.

Terry Funk is terrific, but his roles are mostly just background tough guy. Same with Jesse Ventura.

Hogan is shit. Always has been.

Austin was okay in The Condemned. Not that it required much.

Cena was the worst thing about The Marine.

As for guys like Tanaka, Hard Boiled Haggerty, Mike Mazurki, etc. they never really got a chance to show anything since they played mostly monosyllabic thugs.

Technically not a pro wrestler, at least not in the sense of the other 15 in your list.

Sorry, I'm being nitpicky.

Not this year.

Spoiler:
Not being an antagonizing Keith David type, really.

I couldn't agree more.

I've enjoyed The Rock's acting. I don't watch wrestling, so I doubt I would realize if one was in a movie.
