Does bread shrink when you freeze it?

I don't know if the bread gets suspiciously smaller when you freeze it, or if just a case of 'It looks different when you take it home from the store'.

I don't have time to do the measurements, as I won't need to buy more bread for another 3 months.

This could be the worst movie of the year except for 10,000 B.C.

I think I’ll pass on this one…sounds too artsy and pretentious for me. I mean what is it with young filmmakers and thinking they are just oh so deep by thinking up "creative" phallic symbols for their films. We get it already…bread=penis, freezer=vagina. So, yet another coming-of-age tale about a young man struggling with the question of his emerging homosexuality. Is it French...I bet the film snobs will lap it up even it’s just as formulaic as any Hollywood popcorn muncher. Watch it score a Best Foreign Film Oscar nomination.

I would totally watch a 2 hour movie of bread in a freezer rather than sit through The Happening again.

I saw a sneak preview of this the other night and the audience loved it. They all went to the local bakery afterwards to support the cause: fresh bread is always better than 3 month old defrosted bread.

if this isn't the name of a movie, it WILL be. I'll do it if I have to.

I hated the trailer for this. It took itself way too seriously for something that was obviously ripping off American Beauty. From the bread-as-a-belly freeze frame to the "Look Colder" tag line, it was just cheese.

Oh no. Can a mod move it to the Other forum please.
Unless by some chance Morgan Spurlock decides to do a 30 days style documentary about this.

He'll probably find a way to Bake The Bread.

This might just be the proper "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" sequel we've been waiting for!

I predict a 65% shrinkage in the second weekend. You KNOW releases in the bread genre are heavily front-loaded because of all the carb-crazy fanboys rushing out to eat it the day it's opened. By week two, it's toast.
