The still looks really good and Daniel Day Lewis looks great as Lincoln. Not much a DDL fan but love most Spielberg stuff and like history in general so I'm very excited for this!

DDL chews the scenery in everything he does. A glazed ham if there ever was one. He drinks the fuck out any and all milkshakes.
I'm sure he will do his thing in this, especially with Spielberg at the helm. This should be epic.

I must admit..as much as I love DDL. For those three? The Master and Django Unchained are the ones I'm most excited for. Not sound cruel..but...I know Lincoln will be a fine movie that I'll enjoy for sure...so..there's no surprise for me in that project. The other two? Fuck YES.

When is the Hitchock film with Anthony Hopkins being released? Because unless his portrayal is simply incredible I don't see DDL not winning the Oscar again. I am looking forward to this even with Spielberg directing. Hopefully John Wilkes Boothe doesn't hit Lincoln in the back of the head with a walkie talkie.

Based on the movie god rule book, i bet you that this movie will fall short of itself because when you already have all the right ingredients (DDL+Spielberg+Lincoln) it seems too good to be true, too many cooks in the broth.

Richmond (where this was filmed) is getting one of the premieres. Oh, how I wish I could get a ticket.

Looks impressive, but going from six to midnight is a stretch.

I'm thinking that the assassination has to be addressed but not shown. They can have him showing up at the theater, then cut to the funeral train or the nation's reaction. They don't have to get into detail about the plot to kill him, and the manhunt that followed.
