Geez...he's not even "Ferris Bueller" in that, he's "Matthew Broderick". And no other cast members.

This may be the best Superbowl commercial ever.

You can see a picture of Sarah Jessica Parker at the 0:08 mark.

I enjoyed the ad but would have prefered a sequel.

Loved it, appreciate the nods to the movie. Especially the Lennon/Walrus one in the museum. Had me scratching my head for a couple seconds, but then was "DUH".

Re: Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off

Ok, so it wasn't hilarious but I think the ad did it's job in fulfilling that nostalgia we all have for the movie. This is the closest we'll get to Broderick reprising the role so I'll take it. I enjoyed it for what it was.

Would've liked a Ruck and Jeffrey Jones cameo.

Also surprised no Charlie Sheen.

But ultimately it uh...yeah it really doesn't make me want to go get that car, so it kind of failed as an advertisement.

Re: Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off

I prefer to believe that Ferris, with his enormous charm and his eager willingness to violate rules, became governor of Illinois. After all, a majority of the governors of Illinois have been arrested for violating rules. I imagine him gaming the system, enjoying himself, getting rich, and keeping one step ahead of the humorless director of the FBI Chicago office.

While at a stop light in his fancy new Honda, Matthew Broderick looks over at the car next to him to see his old friend Ruck driving the red Ferrari that's completely Beat. To. Shit.

When the light turns green Broderick drives away with a smile and a wave and Ruck just sits at the light with a depressed look on his face.

Re: Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off

How many movie references can you find? So far I noticed...

1. "Peterson" and "C Frye" on the glass of his manager's office.
2. Guy in coat playing the clarinet.
3. Looks like someone in the crowd at Chinese parade is wearing a white fringe "Sloane" jacket.
4. Rottweiler on a leash outside the hotel.
5. "Ferris" wheel.
6. Call he gets in car is from "Grace".
7. The walrus at the history museum.
