Death Sentence --- Bacon, Preston, Goodman
The movie is being released on 08/31/07 and it looks like it follows the "Death Wish" format.

The book that it is based on was written by the same person who wrote Death Wish. It was his follow-up book.

Looks pretty good. I love me some revenge movies. I hope this is very hardcore and doesn't cheese out in any way. I like Bacon and I think if he really goes all out Taxi Driver style this could be a great addition to the vengeance sub-genre.
