Do you view FILM CREDITS?
It would be interesting to determine how many people view film credits as the majority of the people depart the theater immediately once the film concludes.

I watch them 90% of the time. It's my pet peeve that the theatre cleaners always come in during the credits. They will just stand and wait until everyone leaves, but it annoys me as it implies that the movie is over when the credits roll.

I usually watch them and pay attention to them if they are in the beginning. I have a pension for remembering actors/actresses names and it stems from the beginnings of everything i see.

I stay almost always - except for the very occasional instance where I have to pee like crazy or I'm catching a mid-day showing and have to get back to work or something.

Never unless there is some footage during them. With the internet, I always know if there is any.
While I understand everyone that worked on the film needs credit, I could care less about seeing 99% of the names. How does knowing who was the catered the set or held the boom mike do anything for me? I don't know these people, I don't plan on meeting these people, even if they are in every film, I won't know or care. Good for that person's family but whoopty-doo for me. The only info I actually might look for is the cast list or a song's name. Same at home. If there isn't anything during the credits, I stop watching as soon as they start.
I guess if someone really screwed up their job (boom mike visible in every scene), I might look who the looser.

On occasion. If there is a special feature, like in 28 Days Later, The Matrix: Reloaded, or FOTR, I'll definitely stay. Also, I'll stay if it's entertaining (School of Rock) or just well done and interesting. Otherwise I have no desire to watch for names that are altogether meaningless to me.

I do in theaters, probably about 95% of the time. Only time I don't is if I have to be somewhere or the music in the film/credits was just AWFUL, but since I usually see later showings that typically doesn't happen often. Also, it usually pays to watch the credits as you aren't stuck in the always crowded shuffle to leave the theater and lately it seems more and more films have things after the credits role. It feels like studios are really trying to make people stay and watch the credits.

twikoff option- Nah,not really unless I spotted a really hot chick in the film and want to check her out more. Then I'll google her name.
Such was the case with Cerena Vincent when I first saw her in Not another teen movie.

decompress and let the movie sink in
annoy my friends who want to leave right away
make the folks outside for the next show wait a little longer
check out who did certain songs
see where it was filmed
if a film or program is shown within the movie and I don't know it, I can find out (copyright requirements)
take note of the less glamorous credits (I was glad to see that Walter Murch edited Cold Mountain, as it was done well)
just keep an eye out for some names I may recognize
check my voice mail messages
and wait out the crowd

I like to see who does which songs. Since the song credits usually come at the very end I'm usually there until the projector lamp is turned off. I'm almost always the last to leave the theater.
Some times I'm very surprised with a kicker. The wife and I were the only one's in theater when Matthew Broderick told us to go home at the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Always. I'm a big film score buff and I love hearing some of the score during the end credits. Plus, I hate fighting with a crowd to get out of the theatre.
