Notice how Primeval slowly dropped out of the top 10 as the week went on? Word of mouth, I bet.

Night at the Museum is gonna hit $200 million. Who woulda guessed?

Never in a million years for me. I was thinking it would be lucky to top out at $60-75 mil.

I don't know why, but I thought The Hitcher would do a lot better as the only wide new opening, that 8.2 sounds pretty pitiful. And holy crap, Night at the Museum still raking in $13m, only a 24% drop. That could push $230+ by the end of its run, very impressive.

I wish CoM was getting more business, but at least it is inching towards its production budget: BOM estimates $60MM total including overseas and I think the US is the last major territory for its release.

I still don't understand the point of having a big budget movie be released in limited release. If this had come out wide in December, it would've done a lot better.
