Bloody Hell! They pulled Massacre at Central High!! Apparently they couldn't get a copy from the distributor in the "correct digital format." Replaced with "All Night Long." Ugh.

Only if you love movies that have a complete disregard for filmmaking 101 and if someone briefly overheard a plot-outline that David Lynch might have had.

That sounds like something I can appreciate.

Re: Rob Zombie hosts cult flicks on TCM!

Wow. Hasn't been a post in 5 months! But this is a very worthy bump because I feel that November '09 will be the greatest month yet for Underground:

6th
Putney Swope
Greaser's Palace

14th
Poor Pretty Eddie

21st
Robot Vs The Aztec Mummy
Curse of The Mummy's Tomb
Mummy's Boys

28th
Psychomania
Electra Glide in Blue

Re: Rob Zombie hosts cult flicks on TCM!

Given that Rob Zombie hasn't hosted TCM Underground in 3 whole years (and really only hosted for the 1st couple of months it was on to boot), isn't about time to change the name of this thread?

(Assuming any Mods are reading it, that is.)

Poor Pretty Eddie looks like some serious 70's sleaze, I'll have to be on the lookout for that one. Putney Swope is an often hilarious but wildly uneven Downey Sr. film. The pimple cream commercial is a definite highlight. Also available on DVD for those without cable.

Re: Rob Zombie hosts cult flicks on TCM!

^Kinda agree there. I gave PS a look last night and it wasn't as brilliant as I remembered. Putney's dubbed voice has become the main selling point for me now. Taped Greaser's Palace afterwards. Might give it a look tomorrow.
