Movie(s) that is your guiltiest pleasure?
You know the one that is made like absoulte crap, acted like absolute crap, the production value is like crap or spectacular crap (if it had a decent budget), yet you can hardly look away everytime it is on tv or when you pop it in after taking it from its super secret hiding place...
Jason X...for me. There is just something about this one that everytime it is on (Sci-i or USA) I can't help to watch it. I am eventually going to get the DVD, but for now watching the death scenes (and they are pretty inventive) and the absolute camp and idiocracy just makes me gawk and ultimately love. |

"Flash Gordon, Quarterback, New York Jets"
One of the cheesiest movies ever made and I love every minute of it. Sometimes when I'm in a tense situation I can hear the Queen soundtrack in my head - "Flash... ahhhh.... savior of the universe."

Probably Dave, which is by no means a classic movie, but which also happens to be one of my favorites ever. I'm guessing because I like almost every movie Kevin Kline is in.

Does either Mission: Impossible or Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust count?

I said "Blue Crush" and "Dog Soldiers" last time. I'll take "Dog Soldiers" back as a "guilty" pleasure and promote it to straight "pleasure" at this point.
Recently, I can't stop watching old Miami Vice episodes. Costco is charging 40 bucks for both of the first two seasons. It's a whole lotta Vice to get through, but I'll man up... Others: The Rock Starship Troopers (which I can appreciate any number of ways) Heavy Metal Appleseed Lords of Dogtown

Dude, this is my all-time favorite movie? How on earth is this a guilty pleasure? How elitiest are your tastes where you find it hard to admit you like a movie like this. People here pick some really lame guilty pleasure movies. I got a real one. . . . Yes,. . . . I actually like the Spice Girls movie.
