I dunno what the rest of you want, but DAMN this looks good. I think this has just become my must-see of the season. The movie looks fantastic. No crappy CGI, unrealistic super-gadgets (i.e. "the Vanish"), just badass Bond.
Craig looks great in this role. I'm gonna give him the chance to prove it with my $10.

I saw the trailer before it was posted here and LOVED IT! Maybe the movie itself won't be that good, (time will tell) but the trailer has me really pomped up for it. This looks like it's going to be the best bond film since License to Kill. It's been a long time since I was looking foreward to a new bond film this much. I had doubts about Craig but after seeing the trailer, this is my most anticipated film of the fall for sure. Here's hoping it kicks all kinds of ass...
PS. The last Bond film I saw in a theatre was "Tomorrow Never Dies" and the last 2 have been borderline terrible/mediocre.

i'm still not crazy about Craig, but I think he'll be able to pull it off given a better storyline than the past few bonds. I dug Brosnan but it definitely seems like Craig is going to give Bond more of an edge.

Which happen to be two of my favorite Bond movies, so I'll probably LIKE Casino Royale. The problem here is that people seem to forget they tried the "realistic" Bond before and audiences didn't bite.

Each trailer encorages me just a little bit more. I know where I will be on Nov. 17th. Hopefully going to the movies after picking up my PS3.

Understood. I get what you are saying now. I think that the gadgetry used in the past few films has been a way to attract more viewers. This movie is supposed to be more reminiscent of earlier Bond films, so it may be more to your liking.

Saw this one yesterday (the trailer) and I am going to agree with the camp that this is the closest to the Fleming incarnation of Bond in a while. Craig really is impressing me, and he has the classic pulp action star look down. My only fear is that modern audiences are so used to the wisecracking bond with gadgets and all that this one might not register with them.

I would say that it's easier to pull of a change in tone with a "reboot" story like Casino Royale as opposed to a loose sequel as the Dalton movies were.
