Watching Star Wars in the theater and wondering why nobody was going to the bathroom in the film.

Finding a $10 on the floor of the movie theatre as the Tantive IV was flying across the screen.

I was 8 years old at the time. I know my parents took me to the theater to see it, but I don't remember much about the experience.

I was 9 years old, and a month or two later my cousin took my brother and me to go see it. It was literally the single most powerful movie-going experience of my life. I don't know if that experience could happen to kids today, what with the media and marketing saturation. Back then (and I grew up in a rural area), there just wasn't the media hype and promotion, there were no Star Wars toys or games (even months after the movie was released), there was no concept that the movie would be out on VHS or DVD in a few months where you could watch it endlessly. It just came in out of the blue. Not to sound too corny, but it was a really magical experience for a 9 or 10 year old at that time.

Only three, I imagine my folks took me to one of the re-releases in the next year or so because I remember having SW toys very early on.
