Didn't you have this same thread for Citizen Kane?

If you can't write about a terribly pathetic topic such as symbolism in films you probably shouldn't bother attempting being in a class. As far as your teacher assigning topics like this, I hope you aren't paying for their services at a college.

why dont you mind your own business because once I realize the symbols I know exactly what to write, my only problem is actually picking out the ones worth writing about.

Criterion does a good job with having interviews with scholars talking about symbolism and hidden meanings in movies. Ask your teacher to pick out a Criterion movie next time.

You're being terribly coarse while asking for people's help. It's not wise. Honey attracts more flies than vinegar...

Of course. It's easy to know exactly what to write when someone does your homework for you.
