question about the movie Communion
i remember seein a movie with Chris Walken when i was a child, that had him alone in a cabin and it had aliens in it, pretty sure he was writing a book, but from the descriptions i'm readin of this movie it doesn't sound like it at all but it's the only movie of his that involves aliens.
maybe i just don't remember the movie too well.

In the movie, he plays Whitley Streiber was a sci fi/horror story writer. After realizing he has been abducted by aliens while at his summer house, he begins a bizarre journey down memory lane through hypnosis to remember that he has been visited by aliens since he was a small child. Don't go in to this movie looking for a plot that makes sense. Almost like a Cronenberg movie (Naked Lunch). There are some chilling and frightening images though...

I remember Communion was the first movie that actually scared me, even if I was just a kid. I don't think my parents realized what they were letting me watch.
Great movie though, I haven't seen it in years. I'll have to track it down and watch it again.

Good movie, MUCH better book. It really made you think.
I remember thinking that if an intelligent writer I respected (long before he wrote this book) thought this was real I should at least keep an open mind.
Just to let you know Streiber wrote Wolfen, which was turned into a great movie in the 80's.
