Yes ... On multiple levels. It was a reference to Draven talking about the three Ghostbusters -- there are also several things missing.

At this point I have no interest in any future Ghostbusters projects period, unless the new one gets unbelievable reviews. And I don't care if it's all men, all women, or a mix but if Melissa McCarthy is playing a major role I won't bother. Just not a fan of her. Same with the schmucks from Workaholics.

Your post still does't make much sense. He said three comedians, which as far as I know, Ernie Hudson is not.

Oh good Christ - Ernie Hudson is not a main draw of those movies by any means. It's a vehicle for Murray, Akroyd and Ramis.

Just look at the poster (spoilered for size):

True but he's aged better than all of them, and is more in shape than McCarthy or Wilson. Let's get him in there. From a few months ago:

I mean really, who cares at this point? Blow it up and do the all female cast. Won't be any worse than those 3 old, overweight, unfunny SNL members.

And........it'll make much more bank.

Only Murray and Aykroyd were on SNL. Harold Ramis (who is deceased, since it doesn't seem like you knew) was on SCTV.

I would actually prefer if they just re-boot the whole thing as I never was a big fan of Murray & Aykroyd post SNL.

Yeah, in fact, I didn't even like the Ghostbusters movies, so go ahead and do whatever.

Re: Ghostbusters III (D: Feig, S: Bullock, McCarthy, Wilson)

You know, after thinking about it, my ideal Ghostbusters sequel would be a triptych of half-hour films, each with a different cast and helmed by a different director who loved the original. Ghostbusters UK as above, another segment set in Japan or Korea or someplace, and a third segment set in the US where Apatow or whomever can do their thing.
