Sling Blade: Did Doyle want Karl to ? Warning Spoilers!
I think Doyle wanted Karl to kill him. Karl told him he was going to kill him but He didn't even try to defend himself. Maybye Doyle knew what a bad miserable person he was and wanted Karl to put him out of his misery.

"Hey is this the kind of retard that drools and rubs sh|t in his hair and all that, 'cause I'm gonna have a hard time eatin' 'round that kind of thing now. Just like I am with antique furniture and midgets. You know that, I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture." - Doyle

Doyle was piss drunk. He tried to say something when he realized it was really going to happen. "Karl..." *slice*
My curiosity was piqued, so I just listened to the commentary. According to Billy Bob, Doyle was 'accepting' his death, at a sort of sub-conscious level. He didn't want it to happen, but he accepted that it was going to happen.
