A very important show for this area of the country, and it was very good and very well-received!
My hair stylist played Dr. Frank-N-Furter and I can't wait to give him hell next week!

Even if you love, like, dislike, or hate the film; seeing it with a packed crowd at midnight is worth it at least once.

Going to try to go down to the Rialto this weekend if I dont get the chance, I'm at least going to check it out in Oakland. I think exploring the DVD fully may have ruined the experience, or at least the first time experience for me. But in watching it I saw such a broad spectrum of people there, I don't think I'll stick out as much as I initially thought.

There are still plenty of places that do it on certain weekends of every month in Central Florida. I know Universal City Walk is the third weekend on each month.

No place around me shows it- the last place that did was a discount theater that closed several years ago. At the theater I worked at for a long time, the manager said he didn't want to show Rocky Horror because people always left the theater trashed afterwards.

The Clinton Street Theater has been showing (at least weekly) RHPS since 1978. Sadly, the theater, which is almost 100 years old, started going steadily downhill in the past decade and I hadn't been back since seeing a movie there and walking out due to an out of focus projector and badly crackling speakers.
They've also been showing Repo: The Genetic Opera weekly since it came out.
