Anyone from Pittsburgh go to the Regent Square Theater
Hello all,
I was just hoping to find out what type of location this theater is in. I live south of Pittsburgh, and I know Edgewood has the reputation as being a bad part of town. SO I’m just wondering how bad it is. I didn't even know it was there, but I see that they have been playing some Bergman films recently. Do they often play classic films there? How big is the theater? I have always been kinda disappointed because I could never consistently find classic films in the Pittsburgh area; it would be great if I could start going here occasionally. Nick

As I recall, it's in a pretty residential area and isn't bad at all. I saw the Pittsburgh premiere of Dogma there years ago and it's fine, if a little rundown. There are parts of Regent Square that lean toward the shady, but this is okay. Of course, it's been about three years since I lived there, so things could have changed.
