Re: Airplane Crash Movies
I'm trying to think of a made for tv movie I believe....from the late 80s early 90s.....one of those airplane disaster movies....but they crash/land in Canada or the Arctic circle? I remember they had to survive and wait for help to arrive maybe?

Not sure it applies, but Knowing had the single most impressive audio during the plane crash I've ever heard in a theater. It sounded like the plane was literally crashing in the theater. Amazing.

Fate Is The Hunter
Reminded of an early 70s tv movie where a plane carrying nothing but blind people crashes on a mountain. Pilots killed. The survivors, all blind, try to make it down the mountain.

I loved that movie. When they were recreating everything with the sole survivor, it was almost supernatural. I really liked the perfect storm of a conclusion.

Eh, that was seven or eight years ago. The OP will get over it.
Real life events aside. The final 10 seconds of United 93 is perfect. The way the ground approaches in a single shot is technically wonderful. I had to rewind and watch that shot over and over again.
