I've been racking my brain trying to think of the following movie:

There's a scene where Jim Carrey is flicking a switch (light switch??) up and down, with his palm open. He does this over and over, maybe to annoy someone?

I have the image in my head, I just can't remember what it was. A friend thought the actor might also be Chevy Chase. Any ideas????

I am pretty sure that is from the first Ace Ventura. It's the scene where the Miami Dolphin administrator was thrown over his balcony, and Ace is going around looking for clues. The whole time he is playing with stuff and annoying the hell out of everyone.

The only thing he does during that scene is that opens the balcony door while screaming to show that it was sound proof, but I dont remember him playing with any switches.
