I've been hearing buzz on this movie for months now, so it's good to finally see some footage. Bale looks almost skeletal in the movie. I thought I read somewhere that he got down to about 120lbs for the role. Now that is dedication!
Anyways, the trailer looks interesting even though I'm not sure exactly what the movie is about. Very atmospheric and creepy, but in a good way.

That why I like the trailer so much, it doenst really give away much.
ANyways heres the premise
Trevor Reznik has not slept for a year.
His every waking minute has become an unremitting nightmare of confusion, paranoia, guilt, anxiety and terror -- each of which is part of an escalating series of clues that will lead to the source of his mysterious affliction in Brad Anderson's inventive psychological thriller The Machinist.

One of my most anticipated movies of the next couple of years. Bale will prove again why he is one of the greatest & most underrated actors alive.

Well there are healthy ways to lose the weight... based on diet and exercise or just not eating. I remember one of those E True Hollywood Stories on Damon said the first time he lost the weight he became pretty sick from not doing in in a healthy manner.

I remember that, too. I thought it also said that before or after he did RIPLEY that his doctor recommended not losing too much weight like that again because he could damage some of his organs.

This opens next friday here in L.A. , I'm looking forward to this. I saw the trailer for it when I went to see A Dirty Shame. I thought no way Bale lost that much weight, it looks like a special effect, but damn he really did !!
