Behind the scenes footage from SW:Ep. III

Found this link over on the "The OtherEarths Forum" after doing a Google search for Star Wars DVD changes.

http://www.otherearths.com/media/ep3-footage.zip

It's a ~2.5 minute clip of someone using a video camera filming a showing of some blue and green screen work of Ep. III's light saber duels between Obi-wan and Anakin. Although it sounds lame, it's pretty cool stuff. Looks like this saber duel is gonna be kick-ass and pretty intense.

It's a 33MB file, so dial-up people take a warning. Also note that the date of this footage is actually from the last weekend of January. So you may have seen it before.

Indiana Jones 4

Howard the Duck 2?

I thought he wanted to get this over with so that he had time to do something else so he wouldn't be remembered as only the star wars guy. Well if it's good I'll watch it. But I do think he has something left in him if he tries for it. He was rusty from a long away period on TPM.

Oh please. Lucas will forever be known as Mr. Star Wars no matter what shit he conjures up afterwards. Actually, more like The Guy Who Single-Handedly Ruined the Reputation of His Own Once-Mighty Franchise. I don't see how anyone in their right mind could even remotely want to see an Episode 7, 8, or 9 at this point.

You could say the same thing about Episode 3, but that's not going to stop $200+ Million worth of people from seeing it anyway.

Who cares what he gets to be forever known as? As for why people would want to see more Star Wars movies, I dunno. Maybe because not everybody lives in that bubble world that you live in called Luca$ Bashville and actually like and still enjoy Star Wars.

Once Lucas is 6 feet under....do you think we'll see alot of other Star Wars base movies spawning off? TV? Movies? Does LucasFilm have the power to do that?

wow, this reaction from you in a lucas thread seems so.. unlike you. Are you sure you are the real Rivero?

He may always be known for star wars, but he did want to try his hand at something else.

Actually after the prequels my interest in 7-9 is higher. Maybe by focusing on different characters and different situations he can free up his creative side to explore new things.
