Groucho can you remove my old port and add my new port gcribbs2 to the league. If you want to keep it you can although I intend for my new port to be my focus this season.

anyone who wants to can keep my old port leagued since I will still be playing it feel free to do that .

My new goal is season to date race and to work myself back up to the top spot here


My old port is going to be a YTD one for now.

wow, shuan of the dead really dropped some. I'm surprised. This is going to be a hit. Lets see how it goes with the advance sells, but I really can see it pulling in some huge numbers with it's mix of comedy and horror.

Maybe. It is opening up in limited theaters at around 500 or so. so it will not adjust at 2.8

If it goes wide it could be a good long term bet.

Of course my new port can not afford it anyway

It's getting a sneak preview/buzz screening this friday and opening wide next week. It's a universal flick and the ads have been non stop. I haven't heard of any sort of limited release for it.

if it ends up wide it will be barely wide unless it changes in the next week by alot.

The good news is that if it builds to a wide you can earn more.

Hopefully the sneak peak will push more of a release for the film. it's tagging along praise from peter jackson, sam raimi and many others in the ads currently running.

actually the best thing for you would be for it to be barely not wide for a week or two with strong numbers and then go wide.

Then it adjusts with a previous + weekend x 2.8. This would be far better than it going wide at just over 650 theaters.

I just don't see how Universal wouldn't open this in more then 500 theaters. It really has a good potential to open big.

The bad thing about a sneak is that the money does not count towards the B.O. totals. It helped Kumar get more theaters but hurt the B.O. IMO.

those sneak previews cash actually goes towards the movie that the preview is playing in. as long as it helps boost word of mouth.

Gut checks:

WTMRW- I will stay away and save the commission. I am feeling it will adjust a small amount although who knows

MR3K- I think this might end up Long although again I am staying away with my new small port.

WIMBL- This might have legs if it is good although I think it is a short or small adjust either way.

I am staying away from them all this weekend.
