What happened to the actor who played Predator?
Watching the extras on the 2-disc SE last night they listed the actor 1955-1991, how did he die? Who plays the new Predator in Alien vs. Predator?

Hey, I did the same thing an wondered the same thing too (about how he died).
His name was Kevin Peter Hall and he died of AIDS "from a blood transfusion" he had received months earlier. I though the blood supply was pretty clean by that point, US testing for HIV began in '85. Perhaps he was on location somewhere? Regardless, he seemed like a heck of a nice guy.
